Matthew C. Klase

Matt is a partner at Webb, Klase & Lemond and is admitted to practice before all the Georgia and California state trial courts, the California appeals courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, the Northern District of California, the Central District of California, the Eastern District of California, and the Southern District of California, and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Matt is a seasoned litigator who has experience in a wide variety of matters, including: First Amendment and other constitutional litigation, zoning and land use matters, consumer litigation, personal injury law, and general business and commercial litigation.

Matt was raised and attended high school in northeast Ohio, but quickly migrated south thereafter. He attended college at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he graduated cum laude in 1999 with degrees in Criminology and Psychology. While at FSU, Matt was a member of several honor societies and spent his junior year interning at a local plaintiffs' law firm.

After completing his undergraduate degrees, Matt enrolled in law school at The Ohio State University College of Law in Columbus, Ohio. At Ohio State, Matt was extremely active in the trial practice group, specifically working in conjunction with the Franklin County Public Defender's Office toward the defense of indigent individuals. Matt graduated from Ohio State in 2002 ranked in the top 25 percent of his class.

Following law school graduation, Matt worked as a litigator with Gordon & Rees, LLP, one of California's largest and most respected commercial litigation firms. In 2005, Matt and his family relocated to Atlanta where he began practicing with his current partners. Webb, Klase & Lemond was formed in January 2008.

Matt currently resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and following the Cleveland sports teams.
